I need to find her. I need to find my little princess.

It was dark night as an old man walked into the graveyard. He was wearing shabby and dirty clothes. As he trudged through the graveyard, he kept murmuring.

They can’t take my princess from me. I never let them. Never! She is my daughter, my little princess. I…I know she is somewhere here. I can feel it. If only fortune favours me, I will find her.

There! There she is!

The old man jumped in excitement seeing a small gravestone. The date on it showed 05/08/17 to 12/07/20.

Thank you for reading. Also, Thank you, Ravyne Hawke for the wonderful writing challenge.

This story was inspired after I and my friend visited a graveyard nearby. The sight of small gravestones with birth and death dates of mere 3 to 5 years and sometimes even 3 months. So, this story is for the families who have lost their loved ones and the children who couldn’t enjoy their life fully.
